The condition of a number of monuments dating back to the Middle Ages, Late Bronze Age - Early Iron Age, the characteristics of these archaeological monuments was audited by the deputy of director of İnstitute by science, dr. Najaf Museibli.
In ancient gravestones, subjected to destruction as a result of natural and anthropogenic influences, a pair of earrings, rings, beads and pendants made of bronze and iron were discovered. Based on fragments of earthenware found in this monument, it is possible to attribute these archaeological samples of jewelry to the first half of the first millennium BC.
All these finds indicate a high level of development of jewelcrafting in Azerbaijan 2700-3000 years ago.
