MONGOLIAN AND AZERBAIJANI ARCHEOLOGISTS WILL CARRY OUT JOINT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHES
On June 1, ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography hosted a meeting with the delegation headed by President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Mongolia (ASRM), academician Douger Regdel. Director of the Institute, Doctor of History, Professor Maisa Rahimova, greeted the guests, informed about recent researches and scientific achievements of the institute.
Professor M.Rahimova underlined that due to the attention and care shown by President Ilham Aliyev to the development of science in the country, as well as the economic and creative activity, Azerbaijan attracts foreign archaeologists.
Later, academician D.Regdel said that they are interested in the organization and development of scientific relations with archeologists of Azerbaijan.
Professor Sampildondov, Director of the Institute of History and Archeology of ASRM, spoke about the activities of the company, its international relations and archeological researches carried out in Mongolia.
Then head of department at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, PhD in history Goshgar Goshgarli spoke about archeological researches in Mongolia within international project.
At the meeting, the sides agreed to cooperate in the field of joint archaeological and ethnographic studies. Later, ASRM and ANAS exchanged scientific publications.
The event was attended by academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Social Sciences, academician Nargiz Akhundova, head of the department of International Reletions office of the Presidium Bunyamin Seyidov and employees of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography.
