On April 7-8, 2025, the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS held Open Days dedicated to the Day of Science. The event was organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the institute.
The main goal of the event was to introduce the public to the current directions of archaeology and anthropology, attract people interested in this field to the institute’s activities, and create a bridge between the scientific community and the younger generation.
During the Open Days, participants visited the institute’s research departments and laboratories, familiarizing themselves with the latest archaeological studies. Various archaeological finds were demonstrated to visitors, and detailed information about expedition materials and research results was provided.
In addition, interactive discussions were held with the institute’s leading scientists and researchers, offering information about current academic prospects and future scientific opportunities in the fields of archaeology and anthropology for young people.
The event, which served as an important platform for those interested in archaeology and anthropology, especially young researchers, was attended by students from Baku State University, Azerbaijan University, ADA University, and Western Caspian University.
Guests highly appreciated the Open Days and emphasized the importance of holding similar educational events more frequently in the future.
