In a short period time, settlements, a city site, a castle and numerous mounds belonging to the Late Chalcolithic-Early Bronze and Middle Bronze periods were recorded, surface materials were collected and the most important of them were handed over to the Igdir Museum. The monuments recorded for the first time are closely related to the monuments of Azerbaijan and in particular, Nakhchivan, and further research will contribute to our shared history with more interesting discoveries. In one of the newly registered monuments, it is planned to carry out extensive archaeological excavations under the guidance of Azerbaijani archaeologists in the coming years.
