Second Issue of the Institute’s International Scientific Journal Published
The second issue of the international peer-reviewed English-language journal of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS — “Tempus Pontem: Azerbaijan Journal of Archaeology and Anthropology” — has been published.
The journal’s editorial board includes prominent archaeologists and anthropologists from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Japan, Italy, the United States, and Germany. The new issue presents articles covering recent research results in archaeology and anthropology in Azerbaijan. Alongside Azerbaijani scholars, contributors include researchers from the United States, Türkiye, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
All articles in PDF format are openly accessible to an international audience via the journal’s official online platform (ajaa.az). Through the OJS system, the journal is integrated with CrossRef, Google Scholar, ORCID, and other indexing and data platforms. The publication meets modern international standards, including full journal metadata, publication details, and identifiers such as ISSN and DOI. Articles are formatted according to APA style guidelines used in the social and behavioral sciences.
The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Associate Professor Farhad Guliyev, PhD in History, Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS and Corresponding Member of the German Archaeological Institute.
