At the latest meeting of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the results of the Young Scientist of the Year award competition for 2024 were announced.

According to the results, among the nominees from various ANAS institutes, doctoral student Günay Bayramova, a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, was declared the winner in the "Young Scientist of the Year category.

It should be noted that Günay Bayramova, known for her exemplary conduct and the respect she has earned among her colleagues, actively participated in archaeological excavations between 2019 and 2024 at:

 I Plovdağ, II Plovdağ, III Plovdağ, Muncuqlutəpə, Mərdangölü necropolises
 Plovdağ settlement and the ancient city of Xaraba Gilan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
 Khan Mosque in the city of Sheki (2021)
In the coming days, Günay Bayramova will be awarded the Young Scientist of the Year" diploma, alongside other winners of the competition.
